Today I wanted to highlight a simple but time saving image plugin for your website. This free plugin is the Drag & Drop Featured Image plugin and it does exactly what you think it would. After installing the plugin your featured image section gets updated to allow for dragging files directly to it.
To use it, all you have to do is drag the image you want for your featured image into the box and it uploads it. If you want to switch the image, you can replace it by dragging another into the box.
You can also remove the image by hovering over the current one and clicking “remove featured image”.
If you are using featured images in your pages, it can save you quite a bit of time.
